no corkage charge at the west mill

Our No corkage Policy allows you to supply the drinks for your daytime drinks, this is your Drinks Reception and The Wedding Breakfast. In line with our ‘no hidden extras’ policy there is no corkage or service charge applied.

We will ask you to deliver your drinks the day before wedding day along with your other decor items. We will then chill your drinks overnight and on your big day our experienced catering staff will serve it to perfection. If there are any of your supplied drinks left over after the no corkage period ends, these will be stored safely stored and can be collected the following day.

We would suggest you provide half a bottle of wine per person throughout your wedding breakfast with a glass of something fizzy for the toasts. In addition, our catering staff will provide large jugs of fresh tap water or put out any bottles of sparkling water you may have supplied.

This takes place straight after the ceremony and typically lasts around an hour and a half. Your guests will mingle and enjoy a drink in the beautiful surroundings while photographs are taken. We would suggest you opt for classics like Fizz, Bottled Beers and Long Drinks such as Pimms for your drinks reception.

Our friendly bar serving staff will ensure a steady flow of wine to your guests’ tables throughout the meal, after which The West Mill Bar will opens and any unopened leftover drinks are stored away for collection at a later date.

Should you wish to make drinks free to your guests after the No Corkage period ends you are welcome to put a tab behind the bar.
