WOW! We think it’s safe to say we’re still on high from last week’s events! After being shortlisted for not one but two awards (Best Events Team & Best City Wedding Venue) #teamwestmill donned their glad rags and trotted off the regional awards ceremony of The Wedding Industry Awards held at The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club set for an evening of celebrating amongst the East Midlands finest wedding suppliers.
Unfortunately we didn’t come away with the award for Best Events Team – there’s always next year 😉 but we did scoop up the award for The Best Town/City Wedding Venue in the East Midlands! To say we are proud is an understatement, just to be shortlisted in our first year of opening is an achievement but to be recognised as the best – as voted by our wonderful couples – well, that was beyond our wildest dreams.
We’d like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to each an every one of you who have married with us, voted for us and to those who believed in us when we were undergoing renovations. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Now it’s on to the National Finals which are held in London in January 2017. Best Town/City Wedding Venue in country? – We’ve got everything crossed!
