Kimberley & Ben married with us in November and with all their ideas and special touches we knew their wedding was going to be one to remember!
After hair and make up, Kimberley and her family arrived at the venue and used The Dressing Room to put on her gorgeous lace fishtail wedding dress and finishes touches before the ceremony.
Whilst Kimberly was tucked away in the Dressing Room, the guests began to make their way to The Cotton Quarter on the top floor. The space looked amazing; the aisle was lined with our lanterns and pillar candles, the floral arrangements – especially the hanging garland were beautiful and Ben looked particularly dashing in his top hat and tails and orange silk tie.
The ceremony was beautiful and made even more special with unique readings and music from the Derventio String Quartet and after the newly-weds had said their ‘ I do’s’ their guests followed them downstairs to The Gallery for their drinks reception. The British weather held off long enough for the couple to wander outside for some stunning portraits and for those all important confetti and group shots in the courtyard and they headed back inside into the comfort of The Gallery for more celebrations accompanied by the sound of Derventio’s strings.
After the Drinks Reception it was time for their guests to head upstairs to The Breakfast Room where the rooms was adorned with floral arrangements in gorgeous autumnal shades. Personalised stationery, favours and pops of copper all added to the décor and soon they were all tucking in to a wonderful 3 course meal served by the Jenkinsons Team.
After the speeches Kimberley & Ben lead their guests outside to start the Evening Reception in style with sparklers and a spot of ‘light painting’! The photos captured by HBA are just amazing and their guests looked like they had a lot of fun!
Sparkler shots over it was time to head back inside and up to The Spinning Room where Kimberley & Ben opened up the dancefloor with a rather Epic first dance!
Congratulations Kimberley & Ben from all here at The West Mill, it was a pleasure to host your wedding day here at The West Mill!
