1. Not your average wedding venue.
If you’re looking for a quirky wedding venue with bags of character and an industrial feel, then we might just be the venue for you. Inspired by the converted warehouses in Shoreditch and New York, this Grade I listed former Cotton Spinning Mill has been restored to the highest standard to host your big day. From the stunning riverside location to the unique architecture and original features, whether you’re style is vintage, rustic or contemporary, the West Mill is the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.

2. Unique Layout Split across four Floors with bags of Space
The West Mill is unique not only from the outside but inside unveils a whole new approach to how a wedding day flows. With almost twice as much indoor space than your average wedding venue, The West Mill offers you four floors of stunning architecture with the flexibility for you to add your personal style to. Each of our four floors has a different purpose for each part of your wedding day, this not only makes the day flow seamlessly but it also creates an element of surprise for your guests as they move from floor to floor.

3. Exclusive Use Wedding Venue.
From saying I do to last orders, you can guarantee the only people on the premises will be you, your guests and your dedicated team. Our venue hire price is the total price you pay for exclusive use of The West Mill. This includes The Bridal Dressing Room – for your exclusive use throughout the day; the Cotton Quarter – our stunning top floor ceremony room; the Breakfast Room – for your banquet; the Spinning Room – for your evening bar and entertainment, and the Gallery – the perfect place for your drinks reception. Outside we have the courtyard and gardens with our riverside walkways – ideal for outside photographs, and discreet exclusive onsite parking.
4. No Corkage Wedding Venue.
Our No Corkage policy allows you to provide your own daytime drinks without incurring any extra charges for us storing and serving them. It also gives you the creative freedom to serve drinks that represent you as a couple, as you’re not tied to any formal drinks packages.
Pop Fizz Clink – You can’t go wrong with a glass of fizz.! From flutes of Champagne, to Cava with a strawberry to ‘Pimp your Prosecco’ stations … it’s the perfect way to celebrate your marriage.
Fancy a cocktail? – Cocktail bars are a popular choice and drinks such as Mojitos and Pimms go down a treat. How about choosing two signatures cocktails? A ‘His and Hers’ choice to further personalise your drinks reception.
How about a pint? – Craft Beer & Real Ale is also a great choice for your drinks reception. If you have a favourite beer you’d like your guests to enjoy why not purchase a keg from the brewery and serve it up as part of your no corkage.
5. A fabulous inventory of props and vintage furniture.
Not only do you have exclusive to access to the venue and grounds but you’ll also be able to take advantage of the many vintage props and furniture to help style your day! From original postboxes and vintage suitcases, to an abundance of rustic crates and lanterns and not forgetting our very own horsebox bar and light-up love letters, you’ll have a great backdrop to add your personal touches to.
